Psychotherapy Services
I am a trainee psychotherapist who will listen deeply to your worries and challenges. I aim to walk with you in the direction of your healing and personal growth. Feeling heard and understood can make all the difference.
Working as a relational integrative therapist means I draw on a variety of modalities and techniques in our work together. My framework is a combination of Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic, and compassion-based therapies, which are rooted in Buddhist Psychology. These can be tailored to fit the needs and preferences of each individual client. I also like to use creative tools where they serve our work.
I hold a postgraduate certificate in couple and individual counselling and psychotherapy (Tavistock/University of East London). I am nearing completion of the MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute (London). I have a BSc in Human Biology and Physiology from the University of Toronto.
I am registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) as a trainee psychotherapist. That means I abide by their strict code of professional standards and ethics.
I have completed professional training in Internal Family Systems, Mindful Self-Compassion, Sand Tray, Creative Writing in Bereavement, and Transactional Analysis (TA).
I have been working as a volunteer bereavement counsellor with a national charity since 2021 and as a therapist with a local mental health charity since 2023. To date I have accrued more than 650 hours of client work.
I am an experienced teacher and practitioner of yoga, meditation, and mindful self-compassion.
My practice is in West Byfleet, Surrey where I see adult clients in person for either short-term or long-term therapy. My space is on a quiet street, which is an easy five-minute walk from the well-serviced West Byfleet station, and I also have off-street parking available. We meet in a confidential, safe, and comfortable space so you can explore your inner world and your relationship to the outer world.
I am accepting clients for face-to-face work and am available weekdays and evenings.
Therapy is most effective when we meet weekly, especially at the early stages. The fee is £45 per 50-minute session.
